Is every cancer treated with keyhole surgery?

No. The approach depends on the tumour type, its stage, and its location. Some cancers suit laparoscopic or robotic surgery, while others need an open operation. Dr. Shehryar Niazi decides after reviewing your imaging and biopsy.

Will I need treatment beyond surgery?

Some patients do and some do not. Surgery removes the tumour, and depending on the findings you may also need chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or ongoing monitoring. Your full plan is discussed with you after the diagnosis is confirmed.
